How collaboration works

When you share a document with your team, every invited member can open it at the same time. Edits are synced instantly across all sessions, so everyone always sees the most up-to-date version. You can see who else is active in the document at any time, making it easy to coordinate without stepping on each other’s work.

Collaborating on a document

Open a document in your workspace

Log in to your Nexus AI dashboard and navigate to your team workspace. Open the document you want to collaborate on.

Share the document with your team

Click the Share button at the top of the document. Select the team members you want to invite, or share with your entire workspace. Each member will be notified and can join immediately.

Edit together in real time

Invited members can now open the same document and begin editing. All changes are synced instantly — you’ll see each collaborator’s cursor and edits as they work.

Use team chat to discuss changes

Open the Team Chat panel on the right-hand side of the workspace to leave comments, ask questions, or flag sections for review — without interrupting the editing flow.

Export the final document

When your team has finished, click Export and choose your preferred format — PDF, DOCX, or HTML. The exported file reflects the latest saved version of the document.
Use the AI Writer within a shared document to generate new sections, rewrite existing content, or brainstorm ideas — without leaving the collaboration view. Any AI-generated content drops straight into the document for your team to refine together.
