How to use the AI Academic Writer

Open the AI Academic Writer

Log in to Nexus AI and select AI Academic Writer from your dashboard. This feature is available on Premium and Ultimate plans.

Enter your topic or research question

Type your essay title, research question, or thesis statement into the prompt field. Be as specific as possible — a focused question produces more accurate, relevant output.

Select your citation style

Choose your preferred citation format from the dropdown: APA, MLA, Harvard, Chicago, or another supported style.

Set word count and academic level

Use the settings panel to define:
  • Target word count — set a length that fits your assignment brief
  • Academic level — choose from high school, undergraduate, postgraduate, or doctoral

Generate your paper

Click Generate. Nexus AI produces a fully structured academic document with an introduction, body sections, conclusion, and in-text citations formatted in your chosen style.

Check each citation against your source material, make any adjustments in the inline editor, then export to PDF or DOCX for submission.
