Whether you want consistent brand narration in your own voice, or a unique character voice for creative projects, Voice Clone gives you a reusable voice model that sounds natural and expressive.

How voice cloning works

Voice cloning in Nexus AI is a three-stage process:
  1. Upload a sample — you provide a clear audio recording of the voice you want to clone
  2. Model creation — Nexus AI analyses the sample and builds a personalised voice model that captures the tone, cadence, and character of the original recording
  3. Generate audio — you use your cloned voice as a voice option inside AI Text-to-Speech, producing fully branded narration for any project
The entire setup process usually takes under a minute, and your cloned voice is then available to reuse across as many projects as you need.

Cloning a voice

Navigate to AI Voice Clone

Log in to app.mynexusai.com and open AI Voice Clone from your dashboard. This feature requires the Ultimate plan.

Upload your audio sample

Upload a clear, high-quality recording of the voice you want to clone. The sample must be at least 30 seconds long and in WAV or MP3 format. Background noise, music, or multiple speakers in the sample will reduce the accuracy of the clone — aim for a clean, isolated recording.

Name your voice clone

Give your voice clone a descriptive name (for example, “Brand Narrator” or “Alex — Product Demos”) so you can identify and select it easily when working in Text-to-Speech.

Wait for processing

Click Create Voice and wait while Nexus AI processes your sample. This typically completes in under a minute. You will receive a confirmation once your voice model is ready.

Use your cloned voice in Text-to-Speech

Open AI Text-to-Speech, select your newly created voice from the voice picker, enter your script, and generate audio. Your cloned voice will narrate the content with natural intonation and pacing.
Only clone voices you have explicit permission to use. Cloning someone’s voice without their knowledge or consent may violate applicable privacy and intellectual property laws, as well as Verbosec’s Terms of Service. Misuse of this feature may result in account suspension. When in doubt, only clone your own voice or voices for which you hold clear written consent.

AI Voice Isolator — also included on Ultimate

Your Ultimate plan also includes the AI Voice Isolator, a companion tool that cleans up existing audio recordings before you use them for cloning or any other purpose. The Voice Isolator uses AI to analyse an audio file, detect the primary voice, and separate it from unwanted background sound — removing noise such as room echo, traffic, music, or crowd ambience. The result is a clean, isolated voice track that is far more suitable for voice cloning, captioning, or direct use in projects.
The Voice Isolator works with any audio file format and is accessible directly from your dashboard under the AI Voice Isolator section.
